Working in a local Health and Development Center

-Are you planning to study medicine in future?
-Are you presently a medical student wishing to engage for a while in a health and medical project in a developing country?
-Are you a nurse, medical doctor or health assistant willing to dedicate some valuable time in helping people in Cameroon?
-Are you a curious volunteer willing to assist people in the medical branch?

Then this is the ideal volunteer opportunity for you during summertime!

Work:

You shall be working with a local health center in either the French or English Speaking area of Cameroon for a period of your choice!
Work shall involve assisting the various health staffs with daily duties such as consultations, assisting patients, conselling, data collection, small office work and more!
Volunteers are expected to be very flexible and open to new challenges, owing to the fact that they shall be facing a completely different help system as compared to where they come from.
No special skills shall be needed for this position but volunteers are expected to be dedicated, open-minded, helpful and curious.

Location:
We shall be placing volunteers depending in whihc part of Cameroon they shall wish to work. We have health centers partnering wih us located in both the French and English speaking regions of Cameroon.

Work shall be reserved ffrom Monday to Friday, starting daily from 8am to 15pm. Weekends shall be reserved for sightseeing and other leisure activities which the volunteer will want to involve in.

Volunteer shall be accomodated with host families during their stay in Cameroon.
