Water Point contruction and renovation project

Water remains a very important human resource as far as development is concerned. Many communities and people in Cameroon today still have no clean water supply and this has been the cause of many water borne diseases and illness.
This is a placement which is opened for volunteers who are interested in some small hard work and out door activity!

Work:
Volunteers shall join the village group and other technicians in reconstructing an old abandoned water point. This water point had been operating many years ago and since its break down, the responsible authorities have not taken the challenge to rebuild this point in order to provide clean water to the people.
This position is open to volunteers from all groups of life and no special skills is needed.

Work shall be reserved from Monday to Friday, starting daily from 8am to 15pm. Weekends shall be reserved for sightseeing and other leisure activities which the volunteer will want to involve in.

Volunteer shall be accomodated with host families during their stay in Cameroon.
Interested volunteers can also involve themselves in our shoe distributing project in the local areas where they shall be working! www.shoeaid.org
