With the Fair Champions educational project, we would like to point out alternative options for action in relation to the consumption of textiles and shoes. On the other hand, it is about explaining the concept of "Fair Trade".
Connections between one's own consumer behavior in Germany and the depletion of resources, the living realities and working conditions of textile workers in other parts of the world are explained. The journey of a T-shirt or shoe is reconstructed in a playful and interactive way. The production steps up to the finished t-shirt or Shoes in the shop, vividly and graphically explained.
During the workshops at the schools, the students will create their own fair trade t-shirt designs. The self-chosen slogans and layouts are intended to provide information about fair trade.
