Hope Foundation is involved in water installation programs in some of the poorest parts of Cameroon. With the assistance of international volunteers, we build, renovate and renew a number of water points around various provinces where there is a significant lack of a number of basic infrastructures.
Some water points were built over a 100 years ago and are in dire need of reconstructing. The work surrounding the renewal of these water points include rebuilding broken and old walls, replacing old rusty pipes and cleaning the water beds. The final stage is the most important, namely the building of new pumping water systems. Hope Foundation identifies water points that are impure, unclean and unhealthy, supplying water from natural springs that are undoubtedly the cause of many illnesses among children and pregnant women. Once renovated, these water points will supply constant, clean water to large numbers of families. The local inhabitants are always very pleased with work achieved and show their gratitude to the volunteers and Hope Foundation for their valued efforts.
With so many other identified water points in desperate need of reconstructing, your financial support towards the materials and labour is most welcome. Please email us at info@hope-found.org or call us on 0049 30 29007192 for more information.
