Anja Straumann (Switzerland) 10.01.2011 - 15.02.2011

Anja S is a devoted and hard working volunteer who came to Cameroon with full motivation to work with disabled people. Her first stop was at the Bulu Blind center in Buea where she worked with a group of people suffering from various diabilities. She then speant the rest of time working with children in an orphanage in Limbe still not far from Buea.
Her social engagement and love for humanitarian assistance was demonstrated as she personally decided to take over the sponsorship of one of the blind girls. This girl spent most of her time with Anja until Anja travlled back to Europe.
